Campaign Administration Staff Announced
Today, I'm officially announcing my staff for my 2018 Assembly Race. All of these individuals are both experienced and dedicated to making change in our district and our state.
Campaign Manager
Fred Nezami
Fred Nezami, will serve as the Campaign Manager. He is a graduate of my former High School, Benjamin N. Cardozo High School and was the previous campaign manager for Usman Ali Chohan's 2016 Assembly Race.
Senior Adviser (Bi-Partisan Strategies)
Chief Operating Officer (Coalition for the Betterment of Queens)
Usman Ali Chohan
Among others, Usman Ali Chohan has been a major proponent for change in Albany and a major critic of career politicians in New York. He will serve as the Bi-Partisan Legislative Programs Adviser and the Head of the Coalition for the Betterment of Queens, a campaigning coalition sponsored and owned by Christopher R. Fuentes-Padilla. Usman is the current County Treasurer of the Libertarian Party of Queens County.
Director of Social Media
Elliot Axelman
Alongside Usman, as a member of the Advisory Team, Elliot Axelman has been selected to serve as the Senior Advisory for Public Affairs and Communications and to be the Director of Social Media. Elliot is a New York State Paramedic who worked alongside me at SeniorCare EMS Inc.
Elliot Axelman currently serves as the Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Queens County.
Chief of Staff
Stephon D. Jones II
Leading the Volunteer Staffers and representing the Campaign out of district, Stephon D. Jones II served as a Canvassing Supervisor in Usman's 2016 Campaign for the Assembly. He was directly selected in January 2017 to serve as Chief of Staff. He is a major advocate for bi-partisan representation in the City and State Political Climate. He also is a student at John Jay College in Manhattan, NY who is studying Public Administration.
Deputy Chief of Staff for Volunteer Operations
Cody T. Persaud
Cody T. Persaud is the youngest member of the staff, age 18, and has quickly establish leadership and management skills worthy of the position of Deputy Chief of Staff. As the Deputy Chief of Staff, he will be charged with leading the Field Canvassing Division and the Administrative Section.
He will be attending a ROTC program soon in the year.
Deputy Chief of Staff for Public Affairs and Communications
Tatsuya Hondo
Tatsuya Hondo is a former staffer from the Usman's 2016 Campaign. He is the oldest member of our staff and represents the Public Affairs and Communications teams and will report to the Director of Social Media and the Campaign Manager.
